20 Year Composite Fencing Warranty

PINNACLE FENCING – 20 YEAR COMPOSITE FENCING LIMITED WARRANTY 1. WARRANTY PERIOD Subject to these terms, Pinnacle Fencing provides the original purchaser with a 20-year limited product warranty for qualifying Pinnacle composite fencing boards from the date of original purchase. This commercial warranty is additional to statutory rights and does not replace or restrict them. 2. WHO IS COVERED This warranty is personal to the original purchaser and is not transferable to a subsequent owner, occupier or purchaser of the property or goods. Proof of purchase is required. 3. WHAT IS COVERED The warranty covers a qualifying composite fencing board against a material manufacturing defect that causes the board, under normal domestic use and when correctly stored, handled and installed, to suffer structural failure materially inconsistent with its intended function during the warranty period. 5. NATURAL AND PERMITTED VARIATION Composite products may exhibit reasonable variation in colour, grain, texture, sheen and dimensions. Exposure to weather and ultraviolet light may cause gradual weathering, colour change or fading. Such normal aesthetic change, batch variation and ordinary wear are not manufacturing defects unless they exceed any specific written performance standard supplied with the product. 6. EXCLUSIONS To the fullest extent permitted by law, this commercial warranty does not cover damage or failure caused or contributed to by incorrect installation; inadequate foundations or support; movement or failure of posts, walls, concrete, ground or structures; subsidence; drainage problems; impact; abuse; vandalism; accident; fire; extreme or abnormal weather; flooding; storm damage; airborne contamination; chemicals; paint, coatings or cleaners not approved for the product; pressure washing contrary to guidance; scratching; staining; mould or organic growth caused by environmental conditions; normal wear; modification; drilling/cutting contrary to instructions; use outside the intended application; failure to maintain where maintenance is reasonably required; third-party components; or labour/installation defects. 7. POSTS, LIGHTING, GATES, HARDWARE AND OTHER COMPONENTS The 20-year term applies only to qualifying composite fencing boards unless the written order confirmation expressly states that another component has the same warranty period. Aluminium, concrete inserts, gates, locks, hinges, fixings, decorative screens, electrical/LED lighting and other accessories may have separate manufacturer or product-specific warranty periods. 8. MAKING A CLAIM The original purchaser must notify Pinnacle Fencing promptly after discovering the alleged defect and provide proof of purchase, photographs, installation information and reasonable access/information needed to assess the claim. The product should not be removed or destroyed before we have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect or request evidence, unless necessary for safety. 9. REMEDY UNDER THIS COMMERCIAL WARRANTY If a valid manufacturing defect covered by this warranty is established, Pinnacle Fencing may, at its option and subject to applicable law, repair the affected product, supply a replacement for the affected product, or provide another appropriate remedy. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, this commercial warranty does not cover removal, reinstallation, labour, access equipment, landscaping, disposal, consequential work or other third-party costs. Any replacement does not restart the original 20-year period; it remains covered for the unexpired balance of the original warranty. 10. STATUTORY RIGHTS Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Consumers may have statutory remedies in addition to this commercial warranty.
