How the retrofit works
Purpose-made insert channels are fitted to suitable concrete posts to create the receiving detail for the composite boards. This retains the existing post line while changing the visible infill to a coordinated composite system.
The posts still need to be suitable
Existing concrete posts should be checked for condition, alignment, spacing and general suitability before the system is ordered. Cracked, unstable or badly misaligned posts should not simply be assumed to be reusable.
Why homeowners choose this route
Retaining suitable posts can avoid unnecessary removal work and disturbance while still giving the garden a significantly more contemporary appearance. It can be especially attractive where the existing concrete post line is already well established.
Measurements matter
Post-to-post dimensions should be checked carefully because existing installations are not always perfectly uniform. If you are unsure, provide the project information to Pinnacle before committing to manufacture.
Choosing the finish
The retrofit system can be paired with Pinnacle's curated composite finishes and black insert detailing. Request physical finish samples before final colour selection, as screen colours can vary.
